The marks were made between 1929 and 1932 for INAs Far East operation and then given to Chinese policyholders. When the Japanese gained control of Hong Kong in 1942, the marks that were left were stored with the Swiss Consul. After the war, they were taken from storage and sent to the INA Archives in Philadelphia. 53
